Perth

Tuesday 6 September 2022

Day 23
Perth

While staying at Brian & Megan's we take the time to explore the surroundings a bit.  First on the list is Perth.  Megan drops us off at the train station at Stirling and from there on we're on our own.

In Perth we find an information kiosk and lo and behold, we are offered a free guided tour through the city by one of the volunteer guides.  At first there is one other couple joining us, but they don't last, so for the rest of the 90 minutes we have a private guide!

He takes us to places like London Court, His Majesty's Theatre, the Palace Hotel, the original Fire Station and we end at the Mint

Once on our own again we have lunch at Shots Espresso Bar and walk from there back to London Court and on to Elizabeth Quay and the Bell Tower.

Having seen enough at the end of the afternoon we find Perth Underground and take the train and bus back to Balcatta.
