Bunburry revisited

This morning we were told of the possibility that the fuel injector pump may not be working properly and may have damaged the solenoid.  So, nothing much could be done, because it was discovered later in the afternoon and it will be looked at on Friday by a different company. Tomorrow is a National Mourning Day for the Queen, so nobody will be working of course. 

We asked for a vehicle again so that we could do some shopping and as we had the whole day to ourselves again we stayed in town for a while.  As the café on the beach was closed we drove back into town and had coffee and cake at the Coffee Bean and after that walked the length of Victoria Street.  Visited a few shops on the go. Near the end I discovered the presence of a cache:

Shopping was our main priority today, so we went to a different shopping centre, since I needed items from a different store, and Kevin got his prescriptions filled at the chemist.  We had a quick lunch at the Butcher's Café and from there drove to the Dolphin Discovery Centre.  This was not as interesting as we had hoped for and we didn't feel like going on a boat tour to watch the dolphins either, so the decision was made to go back to the camper. We shot a quick video of a ship coming in and that was it for the day.

Upon our return at the truck yard we were told that we had to wait till Friday for the repairs, but were given another vehicle on loan and the key to the gate, so we can go in and out when necessary.  Kevin was also allowed to empty the toilet cassette in the workshop toilets.  About time, after 5 days! ;-) We  do have a spare one, but the valve is playing up.  We may actually be in for a complete replacement of the toilet when we come home!  After all, the motorhome is 22 years old and bound to have a problem or two, or three, or ....

As we could very well be here for a whole week or more we made the plan to go on a trip south tomorrow, and visit the towns that were on our list anyway, thus cutting the rest of the trip in the motorhome short.
