Emsdetten
We left Arnhem early for a drive across the border into Germany. At about 11.30am we arrived in Emsdetten for a visit to Helmut and Rosel, where we will be staying till tomorrow afternoon.
Münster
We had lunch and after lunch they took us to Münster for a visit of this beautiful city. We visited the Aa See and had a cup of coffee (and a beer... 😉).
Later in town we went to the 12th floor of the current townhall where we had a great view over the city. The 12th floor is also a restaurant. We had something to drink and also a delicious walnut cake, while enjoying the view.
Before going home we walked to the St. Paulus Dom. This beautiful church also has an astronomical clock and just as nice as the one in Lund. My favourite though still is the famous one in Prague!

Tecklenburg
After breakfast we visit Rosel's friend and neighbour Marianne and her husband. Marianne helped me so much when I had problems with my ankle 4 years ago.
Next on the program was a visit to Tecklenburg. Coffee, a wander around, lunch, a wander around, coffee and cake.... It's a hard life! And on the way back a delicious Italian ice cream. No need for dinner!
