On Friday we packed, washed, dried and cleaned and left our accommodation in Arnhem. After lunch we arrived at Wim and Gerrie's place in Houten. Great to be back. It's been 4 years! We chatted along and in the early evening walked down the road to watch and encourage the, mostly young, walkers who had walked 40 kms over 4 nights, so 10 km each time. It must have been a bit of an effort as it has suddenly become quite warm at around 30°C!

This was downright the best day of our holiday so far. All the ingredients were there: sunny and warm weather, the whole family together, my favourite theme park and Kevin, of course! 😉

A quiet day. After dinner we walk around a newer area of Houten where I hadn't been yet. In the morning Kevin tried a real Dutch breakfast: a buttered rusk with chocolate sprinkles and a hard boiled egg (the last one was eaten separately, of course 😉)
