Solos - Maroochydore

Our first trip again with the Solos after  the Cooroora Scout Camp.  This time we are staying at the Maroochydore State School.  

I haven't taken any photo's, but we have been busy enough.  We played our regular card games between morning and afternoon tea, or at night, but it was getting a bit windy at night time.

Kevin played disc bowls and Graham and Ron from the BSW joined in as they were staying at the state school as well.  I am learning how to keep the score, so have been busy doing that.

We were in walking distance of the shopping centre and made a few trips to have coffee or just wander about, because there was a whole new extension.

We had our usual sausage sizzle on Tuesday and we went out for dinner to the RSL on Wednesday night.

On Thursday we were set to go home, but this time it was a different trip home altogether.  Kevin had had an accident with his car a few weeks earlier and it was written off, so he had bought a new one. As this one had to come from the Sunshine Coast it was delivered to our camp site.  However, we were here with Kevin's bus, which I can't drive, so the decision was made that Kevin would take his bus home and I would drive his new car!  Glad I made it home without a scratch.  Pffeww....
