White Well Corner to Wangary

White Well Corner to Wangary

White Well Corner was close to Ceduna Quarantine checkpoint, so we had to tackle that first. We had cleaned the soil and mud of our shoes, dumped the fruit, but had to hand in the last potato as well! 😁

We had to do some groceries shopping after we had to dump our fruit and vegies at the quarantine check point. Coffee at the bakery. I made an exception with this doughnut. Give me a cinnamon 🍩 any day! 🙂

We stop again at Streaky Bay where we have been before for fuel, a dump point, and lunch at the Lions Pioneer Park. There were also lots of gazanias along the roadsides again.

From Streaky Bay we turn south instead of east as we want to go to Coffin Bay. Frank loved this place when he did his trip around Australia and I had always wanted to find out why.

Geocaching sometimes leads to unexpected discoveries and we're not disappointed. We are being lead to a wonderful place:

#2475 Murphy's Haystacks (Earth cache)

Nearby I found another one:

#2476 - The Needle (Traditional cache)

Going to the toilet in Elliston (in the motorhome of course) is a pleasure. Room with a view! (After Kevin cleaned the window. Haha)

And a few impressions of Elliston while stopping for afternoon tea.

Wangary, just an overnight stop before we travel on to Coffin Bay tomorrow. Didn't quite make it today...
