Patricia and I have been looking forward to this Mega for a while and finally made in to Stanthorpe on Thursday before Easter. We were going to be at Stanthorpe for four days, camping in the showgrounds with heaps of other geocachers. The Mega was well-organised, with lots to do for adults and children alike, even with a live band on Saturday night and fireworks.
Patricia and I went out to find our first caches around Stanthorpe after we'd set up our accomodation: camper for Patricia, tent for me.
As it was, the first day we had excellent weather and the sun was shining. This would change soon though. But the first caches were found in dry condition. :-)
