A camper trip to Bundaberg

Patricia rang and asked me to accompany her on a trip to Rockhampton to visit a cousin, but we ended up in Bundaberg and Maryborough instead to visit friends.  Any trip is an adventurous trip where I am concerned, so I said I would come.

On the way to Bundaberg we visited Patricia's ex and his wife, where we had lunch and a pleasant chat.  It wasn't the first time I visited them with Patricia and it was nice to catch up again.

Next we went straight through to our destination as we didn't want to arrive too late in the afternoon.  Besides meeting Patricia's friend we also did some geocaching, as it was the second reason for our trip.

We really had to search for this one as our compass kept jumping around.  Probably because of the nearby phone lines.  Anyway, we found the cache on the other side of the road, far from where the compass was leading us.

After a few days caching around Bundaberg we take our leave of the friendly people we met and spent a few nice days with.  We make our way to Maryborough where we meet a friend who we know from Russell Island.  She lives with daughter and son and grand children. We spend the night in the camper at their place and leave the next day.
